Taking Care of Coins
First off, NEVER clean a coin! Cleaning a coin or polishing almost always ruins the coins value permanently! Most coin dealers and experts can tell if a coin is cleaned. When handling coin only hold the coin by its rim, NEVER touch a coins surface except the rim, because oils on your fingers can corrode the coin or leave finger prints over time. Preferably where cotton gloves while handling coins. Never store coins in a place with high humidity, salt air, or temperature extremes. Storing coins in those conditions can damage the surface if the coin sometimes permanently. You can store your coins in tubes, Cardboard 2x2s, Coin Flips, Hard Plastic holders, and Encapsulated Graded Coin Holders .
